Privacy Policy
MioDrive · ZIO LLC · Effective as of September 5, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ZIO LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use MioDrive — the cloud storage service available at drive.zio.ooo and its associated websites, including zio.ooo.
We keep this policy simple because we believe your files and your personal information belong to you. We only collect what is necessary to run the service well.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — email address and credentials you create when you sign up.
- Your content — the files, folders, and metadata you upload and manage in your drive.
- Communications — messages you send us, such as support requests or questions about billing.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, and interactions with the service, used for security and performance.
- Logs — records of requests to the service, kept for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and analytics.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain MioDrive — including storage, sync, sharing, and WebDAV access.
- To keep your account and files secure and to detect abuse or unauthorized access.
- To respond to your questions, support requests, and inquiries.
- To send service-related messages (for example, about your plan).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not read your files for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing information
We share information only with:
- Service providers — trusted vendors that host our infrastructure and process payments. They are permitted to use your data only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements — when required by applicable law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and files for as long as your account is active. When you delete files, we remove them from the active service, and backed-up copies are deleted in the ordinary course of business. If you close your account, your data is deleted within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
6. Where we store data
MioDrive is operated from the United States, and your files and account data are processed and stored on infrastructure in the United States. If you access the service from another country, you understand that your data will be handled in the United States.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including transport encryption, access controls, and monitored infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your credentials and any share-link passwords safe.
8. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can view and update your account information in your account settings.
- Export — you can download your files at any time.
- Deletion — you can delete your files or close your account.
- Objection and restriction — contact us at [email protected] for any privacy request, and we will respond promptly.
9. Children
MioDrive is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
